Both runways are for takeoff and landing, unlock left side of the airport, (remote stands and terminals) other than the uppermost straight length of terminals for dual landing

Thank you for the new Airport, great work. But now in SCL it seems we have the same problem with handlers like in LEJ, IAD and MCT. The amount of handlers far to little. Please increase if possible with new stands or rewards. :folded_hands:

It also helps not activating the full force to handle an aircraft, takes bit longer but it reflects more the reality. Also it spreads the traffic for departure. This is how I deal with it. Just sharing.

I agree with you on this, with BKK, SYD AND Msy, we have been given plenty of handlers and have grown used to using the full force of them, i suggest using the bate minium so we can get back to being sustainable and yes SCL might have a lacking of handlers but you can always work around it by waiting a few minutes.

We are spoilt at SCL by the incredibly fast fill rate with both runways active to land and with little or no taxi-ing distance. Departures also don’t block arrivals when taxi ways fill up - thus… handling crew feels low. But I love the new speed and playability of SCL

Agree with this. Every airport so far has brought a unique challenge to it. The way I play LHR and the way I play SCL are totally different. I guess my point is, not every airport needs to have a massive number of handlers.

This! People are just lazy and expect it to be handed to them it seems. The smaller handlers makes it so much better for looking like a genuine hub airport.

SCLThe details need to be improved. Since it has been chosen as a playable airport, although there are special reasons, it should not be like this.

Hi all, after levelling SCL to max a few days ago I would to share my observations and wishes for future. As mentioned before overall it is a very nice airport with a good continues traffic flow with the two fully operational runways for landing and take off. Another great thing I found no major bugs except the one already reported - timer issue cargo plane level 35.
Quick summery;

Good

  1. Good traffic flow, no crossings.
  2. Nice interaction with GRU and SYD airports

Personal feedback for the wish list:

  1. 360 degrees ATC tower view needed ( like some other airport like BKK, SYD)
  2. Scenery can be improved a little, I think the horizon around the airport is too flat, more mountains view needed, people from Santiago can tell better…), some roads are not finished, would be nice if the first few buildings rows nearby the runway have little bit more details.
  3. At night or with severe bad weather the terminal buildings are too dark, top lights ATC are missing. For some other airports it’s the same issue.
  4. More PAX and cargo stands. I know SCL is also a military airfield but a large aria behind the ATC is not used now, hope a few mixed stands can be added later.
  5. De icing spray can be seen through the terminal building, not realistic.

That’s all. Again, this is my personal view of things. It’s up to the dev team how to move forward and how to use our feedback. Great job they did anyway.

More PAX stands?
I think SCL has a decent amount of them including the shared stands considering their daily operation in real life.
Cargo I can understand but there aren’t that many cargo movements in real life either.

I do agree with the scenery lacking a bit compared to the actual enviornment

It’s not about the terminal. As I mentioned, It’s about the huge aria not in use currently. Would be great to see some traffic there. There is even a full taxi way connection that is not in use. Few extra stands would help. Regarding the scenery, would be nice to see more Andes on the background. Rest of the details I tried to explain. Let’s see in future updates.
