I recently bought the triangle livery for the A320. Is it possible to apply that livery to my already owned planes or can i apply it only to brand new planes when i buy them?
You can do it both, go to your hangar and then to your own fleet. here you can change livery.

I tried changing from hangar and it initially saved when i exited and reentered the hangar. But after restarting game i found that none of the changes were applied and that the default livery was still in use. Any idea why?
Did you press the save button?
