SriLankan Airlines introduced a special livery on an Airbus A321neo (registered 4R-ANC) in January 2026, themed after the Colombo Navam Maha Perahera. Funded by Gangaramaya Temple to promote cultural tourism, the livery features vibrant imagery of traditional dancers and decorated elephants, turning the aircraft into a “flying ambassador” of Sri Lankan heritage across international routes.
