I’m 9 and I really want AMS added too!
I love the idea of the Polderbaan being so far away that planes need ages just to taxi there — that sounds like such a fun challenge, and juggling all those runways depending on the wind would be really exciting to try to control.
I saw some people worried it might lag on older phones, but since the game already has a 2D mode that barely uses any graphics, I don’t think that should stop it from working, even on older devices.
I also don’t mind if it costs a lot of wollers to build — that would just make it feel like a big achievement to save up for, especially if we get a bit more starting money like some people suggested.
If Amsterdam takes a while because it’s so big, maybe Frankfurt (FRA) could be a good one to add first, since it also has runways that cross each other but it’s a bit smaller with 4 runways instead of 6.
Please add this in a future update, it would make my favourite game even better!

I think that the next airport in Europe will take a while because of focus on other continents, but I also feel that it will indeed be AMS. For sure not this year, but maybe in 2027. Of course I’m biased for my home airport but the airport has both an unique terminal layout and runway setup, and has been requested many times in the WOA community, only issue is that it wouldnt run on all devices.
Would love to see AMS, but I really think some things need to be implemented before AMS should be released. Like they have stands that can handle E planes but not all of them and I’d hate to see those stands only handle smaller planes like HKG does at some gates because of the stand size
AMS would probably be the most complicated airport in game in terms of development. It had overwing jetbridges at some gates until 2024, and I hope they would be added aswell in the AMS. AMS has a decently large cargo hub and potential to be combined with a Business jet update since the area next to runway 04/22 is used mainly for GA and business jets.
I don’t think it will be but I think it will likely be the next mega airport in Europe, I feel we’ll get something in Iberia or South eastern Europe first.
