Title: Dynamic gate assignment whitin schedule
What is your suggestion?
When ‘Prefer Schedule’ is enabled in the Delivery Manager, allow aircraft to be assigned dynamically whitin the scheduled pool instead of always following the fixed order of the schedule. In other words: only use aircraft from the schedule (as is already the case), but do not assign them strictly in the predefined sequence.
How would it work in the game?
When ‘Prefer Schedule’ is active and all managers are enabled, the system would only select aircraft that are included in the player’s schedule and respect the gate assignments as listed in the schedule, but it would choose dynamically which aircraft to assign. For example, the system could prioritize the aircraft that has not visited the airport for the longest time or the least recently used contract.
Why is this a good idea?
- It maintains structured gate planning form the schedule
- It prevents repetitive fixed-order patterns
- It creates more realistic and varied traffic
For example, I have over 400 contracts at PRG airport and I have assigned them all in the schedule. If I play with all managers on, I usually see the same planes landing every time. I would like to see more variety.

This would be a small toggle option under ‘Prefer Schedule’, between ‘Fixed order’ and ‘Dynamic Rotation’ for example.
