What is your suggestion?
My suggestion is to have an option in the Ground ATC to have a setting wherein the ATC checks if there is a congestion in the Line-up queue.
How would it work in the game?
For example we can set a limit of 5 planes in the queue per runway, with that no pushback will be allowed unless the number of aircrafts in queue for line up is less than or equal to 5 per runway. The limitation does not only apply on planes that are in the line-up queue but also those that are taxiing to the runway.For the UI I think it will be just the same as the setting in the Approach/Departure ratio where we drag the slider to set the aircraft limit from OFF and then 1-10 aircraft limitation per runway or whatever developers see fit.
Why is this a good idea?
Personally I don’t know if this is realistic or even if it is possible, but for me I don’t like seeing every pushback being allowed even the queue reaches 20s or more especially for single runway airports. With this I can see that this will make the airport more alive without seeing parading planes to the runway.
