Battery save setting ignored

When I load WOA, the battery save setting is off. Tapping 30 fps button once didn’t change the color of the button. Tapping again causes the button to change color to indicate 30 fps is on. Even then, phone is hot acting as of the fps isn’t changed or another quality setting is not correct as I turn down all quality settings to save battery.

I’ve noticed it doesn’t work too, I don’t need it as I have a strong phone but I did notice it

I have the same issue. I always need to push the button twice. And yes, even with it on my phone temp is still up even with everything else closed.
