Why should this airline be added?
Founded from the purchase of Blue Scandinavia by Fritidsresor in 1996 and then the takeover of Fritidsresor by Thomson, the airlines name became Britannia Airways AB (Or Britannia Nordic) and the airline went through a fleet renewal, retiring the MD80s and L1011’s in favour of new 767’s and 737-800 transferred across from Britannia Airways UK, with the 757-200’s being repainted into the Britannia livery. The airline continued flying in these colours until around 2004 when the fleet began a change into new TUIfly colours, (Due to Thomson being taken over by Preussag PLC who renamed itself TUI AG in 2002) with some 737-800’s being part repainted into the unique blue Britannia livery as seen above. In 2005, the last of the Britannia colours disappeared and the airline became TUIfly Nordic, which continues flying to this day.It would be a great addition to the game, providing another Britannia fleet and a new airline for Sweden, which players could operate into their airports across the world.
