During its service with Air China, the B-2462 carried out several major missions: - In 2005, it opened the Chengdu Beijing Frankfurt regular cargo route, becoming the first all cargo flight directly to Europe in western China. -In 2006, it set a record for the largest single loading and unloading volume of cargo in the history of Chinese civil aviation freight (60 tons of special cargo), and its fully open nose design provided a unique advantage for such transportation.
