Is it possible that if you (the Wopa team) have implemented any of our suggestions or possible game functions (this also applies to suggestions for airports, paint jobs or aircraft types), then once these contributions have been implemented in the game they will be removed from the community or packaged differently in a separate field where only the things that have already been implemented and added to the game can be seen). I find it extremely difficult to understand what other suggestions I can make so as not to create duplicates. Many of my contributions and ideas are not approved because they are duplicates. Can you do something about this? It’s really annoying me now because I have to create the contributions myself and spend time researching them to share them with you and the community. Please do me a favor and change this.
If your post doesn’t follow the required template, or is a duplicate then it’s going to be rejected. A lot of your posts haven’t followed the templates or have been duplicates others have suggested. The posts which you made which have followed the templates or haven’t been a duplicate suggestion have been approved.
I’d highly recommend you check the feature directories to see what has and hasn’t been suggested before posting, and most importantly following the provided templates. Everyone has to make sure their suggestions follow the templates and letting duplicate suggestions onto the forum would just make everywhere cluttered, it’s already difficult to keep up with the sheer volume of livery suggestions that are already on here. I’ll also add a post can be considered a duplicate if it’s an individual livery suggestion that has already been suggested in an airline suggestion (assuming said airline is not yet in game).
A link for all of the feature directories:
Yes, but I still find duplicate posts from other people. Could this be cleaned up or sorted somehow? As I said, features and other things that have already been implemented in the game are still visible in the requests or suggestions. Please remove these posts or sort them elsewhere. It’s also very tiring to read through the posts first before you want to post something.
If anyone finds a duplicate post, I encourage them to flag the post so I can remove it. When it comes to suggestions that have been added, what I’ll normally do is lock the thread so nobody can reply to it, which acts as sign the suggestion has been acted on by the developers (I don’t delete them as normally the developers will link any implemented suggestions such as features or liveries in an updates change logs or an updates livery list).
Yes, I understand that. However, I’ll take the example of paint jobs. There are now a lot of paint jobs in the game, but there are still contributions in the community that approve of them, even though they’ve actually already been implemented and are in the game. If these contributions were sorted out from the community or marked differently as…already implemented…I think it would be a lot easier for us to post contributions that aren’t duplicates or anything like that…please don’t take this as criticism, it’s purely a suggestion for improvement from me.
If they are already in game, then I’d say there isn’t any need to make a suggestion for them. That just makes a whole load of duplicates. I might be misunderstanding what you mean by this so I do apologise if I have.
Implemented suggestions will either have a lock icon on the thread, or a lock and a tick if it was marked as a solution (that automatically locks any suggestion post or bug report after 4 days, assuming there’s no more activity). That’s the best that can be done as there isn’t any other way we can go about it to my knowledge. Here’s an example at what to look for when you are looking for stuff that’s already been implemented:
Not at all, I appreciate you providing feedback.
Yes, I notice that the translation is not so good… at least you are not getting what I actually want to convey
Could you give some examples of duplicate posts? As someone that tries to catalogue all the airline and livery requests on a daily basis I try my best to flag any duplicates that get through the system. The feature directories for the airlines and liveries I aim to keep updated on a daily basis. I’m quite confident there aren’t any duplicates but if I’m missing something please do share.
