The developers should use that empty space for additional gates to service L and/or X planes.

The current setup is realistic as is, I don’t think they will put anything there if nothing is there irl

That area in real life is used for hard stand parking, there’s an official total of 16 hard stands, in WOA they added 4 extra to the far R gates and a total of 15. So they are pretty close. If that area is used for anything in WOA it will likely be for parking stands only when that feature comes in, with 29 stands already on offer and limited servicing items, not sure that’s going to help you much to be honest
