Description of the Bug:
Level 81 to level 82 is supposedly taking 5’144 XP. This appears to be a twisted number, as 1’544 XP would have been reasonable compared to IAD’s level 81. Also comparing to the ~2’000 XP needed for HKG’s level 91.
It’s not a typo, the last few levels at select airports really need higher XP amounts to complete. Off the top of my head, I know it’s the same at LHR.
I actually wish we had more of these xp grinds after the next airport is unlocked. More to work towards, especially if they’re a host of cool new special liveries.
The jump comes as quite the surprise. Especially since even HKG doesn’t have this. Level 91 in HKG was something like 1950XP or so (can’t recall exactly, but I managed in 2hrs after ZRH was released…).
Shouldn’t the grind be before unlocking a new airport though? I mean, after unlocking the new airport, you move on… what’s the point of a grind after?
True but that makes it a pain for players who aren’t able to put much money into the game. After you can make the choice if you want to continue with the airport or not and the majority of airports I keep rocking even when I’ve maxed them out, as does a lot of the player base. Just would provide more incentive lol.
The reason for that is that those levels were not part of the original pass. Every now and then the devs add new levels to same airports, and at IAD and LHR only, retroactively added levels past 80 are 5-6k xp.
