This livery should be considered in the game, as Japan Airlines had signed Hideki Matsui as a mascot following his move from the Yomiuri Giants to the New York Yankees in 2003, which included the launched the “Matsui Jet,” which was on two aircrafts, first on a B747-446D registered JA8907, and this being the second aircraft nicknamed “Matsui Jet 2”. The aim of this campaign was to connect Japanese fans and MLB with Hideki Matsui’s bridging the gap.
