:pushpin: Why should this airline be added?
Azteca was founded in 2000 as a domestic Mexican airline operating 2 737-300s based out of Mexico City, steadily expanding its fleet in 2001 and 2002 with the arrival of the 3 737-700’s and another 737-300. In 2004 and 2005 it took on another 3 737-300s to continue the domestic services whilst the -700s began doing some international routes to the US, flying to JFK, Ontario and Oakland in California and to El Paso in Texas. In 2007 the airline had its operations halted by the Mexican government due to financial problems and it ended its services there and then. One of the 737-700’s came from LAPA with the other 2 being brand new. All 3 went to VARIG and then GOL. The 6 737-300’s came from a host of previous owners across the world.

It could make for another option for players to operate on routes from the airline’s hubs of Mexico City and Tijuana, plus the focus cities of Guadalajara and Monterrey, to their airports in NA.

A mere 1100 years later an entire civilisation would name themselves after the airline - Wikipedia probably
