Model Aircraft (Sharepoint)

Finally got around to doing a little bit more on the airport itself, all the lights on the main set of remote stands have been put in, so looks considerably better now I think. Just debating if it’s worth getting some more lights and adding them to the remote stands on the corner (the ones where the Jet2 757 was in my last post) of the airport and adding them to the row of stands where the terminal is as well.

I mean there would probably be one where the jet2 757 is, but for the terminal it could be either, depending on if you are gonna pretend to have lights on the terminal.

Isn’t that NG Aer Lingus 320 just got released? Just want to make sure that the engine panels are accurate to the real aircraft. (Since I’m planning to pick one up)

Yeah i saw one at the Gatwick fair, had a look at the model, I didn’t buy it, but it looked like a decent model, and yeah I’m pretty sure the engines are accurate.

That’s what I was thinking, for the stands which don’t have jetbridges I might add them, but equally putting them next to the jetbridge attachments doesn’t look half bad and the corner stand remote stand I’m very tempted add one to make the area look a bit more cluttered. My main issue with the corner remote stand is if adding a light would cause issues when putting a 787 or A330 there. I’ll probably look into making some progress on the landside section of the airport some point soon.

It has a crazy blend of old feeling from the brick but modern in-between! Very cool!

Well could get a slightly damaged Saab 340 for about £30
Also you could get Binter decals to put on an ATR for your airport, if your up for it.

I use to get customs made by them when they were doing them. I honestly aren’t very good with waterslide transfers, a real pain in the backside.

I wouldn’t get that one, the nose gear is bigger than the main gear and it’s also a leased estonian reg without the black belly that all loganair 340s had.
