Iberia base at PMI and IBZ (Maybe MAH too)

:bullseye: What is your suggestion?
Iberia should have a base in-game in the Balearic Islands but if not all 3 definitely at PMI. Iberia’s real operations have the airline conducting flights from PMI, IBZ and MAH to many airports within Spain and Europe in general as per the image below which shows routes from OMI that Iberia operates. The airline bases several aircraft at PMI mainly from their subsidiary Air Nostrum and Iberia Express who operate the route to Madrid, as well as a couple based at IBZ.

:hammer_and_wrench: How would it work in the game?
Add Iberia as a local airline at all 3 island airports, maybe limit it to just regional aircraft no bigger than the A321. And for Menorca limit to Air Nostrum only.

:balance_scale: Why is this a good idea?
More realistic operations and would allow players to operate flight using Iberia to in-game playable airports. Currently Iberia’s regional aircraft do not visit any playable airports and it would be unrealistic to imagine an ATR flying from Madrid to say BRI, whereas it would make more sense for it to be from PMI or IBZ on that route.

Iberia only international destination from PMI is to France, rest od them are domestic.

Don’t think matters much, you have certain airline who have contract options to destinations they don’t operate normally

Very true, to Nice, however, Iberia have previously operated flights from the islands to European destinations which are now covered mainly by Vueling which ofc is a fellow member of IAG. Would make the short hauls more viable and more ‘realistic’ as the ATR and CRJ2 would never be used on any flights to any in-game airports from Madrid or Barcelona whereas it’s more realistic with the Balearics especially to BRI. The CRJX is just pushing the scope of realism.

In addition to this, Iberia does also operate a lot of domestic flights out of Valencia with those domestic flights including the Canaries so them being available there too might be good for ordinary routes
