[Other] - Pilot wearing Hi vis during Walk around

:placard: Title Format (required):

Have all pilots at every airport in the game wear a Hi-Vis vest during there walk-around.

:bullseye: What is your suggestion?
Currently Pilots in during the walk around are not wearing Hi-vis vest in the game at all airports as seen by this image i have circled.

It is required BY LAW for all pilots to be wearing a Hi-vis during the walk around (same with ground crew) for safety reasons as highlighted here:

:hammer_and_wrench: How would it work in the game?
During boarding the pilot sould walk out onto the apron putting on his or her hi-vis once the walk around is complete the pilot boards the aircraft taking off his or her Hi-vis.

:balance_scale: Why is this a good idea?
It will be more realistic, adding a safe working environment in game. And would look much better then currently in game.

:camera_with_flash: Optional: Image or reference
A pilot wearing a Hi-vis while checking the engine.

A BA pilot wearing a BA branded Hi-Vis while checking the engine.

A Ryanair Pilot wearing an Air Crew Hi-vis while checking the front gear.

Great suggestion!

No, the FAA does not legally require pilots to wear high-visibility shirts when checking a plane, though it strongly recommends them for safety in high-traffic areas. For many airport environments, especially those with moving vehicles and aircraft, it is a standard safety protocol and good practice to wear high-visibility apparel to increase your visibility to others and help prevent accidents.

What? Where have you got this information? When i did my reaserch literally all Avation authority’s mandate Hi-vis on the apron, unless you can prove this otherwise i will just assume that its false information.

They don’t but about 75% of pilots do.

Just decided to do a bit of reading into this and based on my location in the UK, it does appear it isn’t mandated by UK law to have to wear one, but the CAA does say it is recommended use. Now there are some cases where it is law to wear one, found that when loading and unloading slings for a helicopter you should be wearing one at all times. I think it is very much an airfield by airfield basis with the likes of Bristol Airport making it mandatory whereas Barton Aerodrome near Manchester says ‘It is recommended that personnel on the apron should wear a suitable Hi-Vis jacket’ which means you don’t have to and another aerodrome at Caernarvon in North West Wales fines people for not wearing one.

Screenshot of google ai (Take it with a pinch of salt it gets things wrong),

And LHR pamphlet,

I do agree though, the majority of airlines, at least in Europe, East Asia, Australia and North America as well as airports do mandate it.
