What is your suggestion?
We currently have real weather data, we get real metadata (wind direction), but the time of day isn’t real in the game. Currently, there are multiple day and night changes during the game. My question is: Is there a way to add real time of day to the game? By that, I mean, does the game actually take place in real time at the respective airport?
How would it work in the game?
Real time of day: Let me give you an example: I turn on the game at 8 a.m. and am currently at the airport in Leipzig. In that case, the time in the game would currently be 8 a.m. and it would still be dawn or the sun would be just about to rise. The time of day in the game should be exactly the same as in reality. The day ratio should then also be based on real data. If it is, for example, 8 p.m. or already night, only then should the time of day in the game change accordingly, and only then should it become dark and/or night in the game, without the time of day in the game changing multiple times, which is unrealistic.
Why is this a good idea?
Since we’ll already have real weather data and metadata, I think it’s also possible to include real times of day. This makes the game incredibly realistic and authentic.

The realistic times of day are typically: morning (6-10 a.m.), midday (10-12 p.m.), noon (12-2 p.m.), afternoon (2-6 p.m.), evening (6-10 p.m.), and night (10-6 a.m.). This classification serves as a guide, and the exact transitions may vary slightly depending on the context, time of year, or personal habits. Morning: 6 a.m. to approx. 10 a.m. Morning: approx. 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Noon: approx. 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Afternoon: approx. 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Evening: approx. 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Night: approx. 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.After these times, the twilight/exposure should change in the game as it does in reality
The pictures are an example or are meant to represent my request but I think everyone knows what I suggested
