Title: Suggestion – Long-distance flights with stopovers & real-time time zones

Message:
Hello to the World of Airports team!

I would like to suggest a new feature that would allow some long-distance flights to include a stopover at an intermediate airport.

This would add more realism and improve the gaming experience for all players, no matter which airport they are using.

Examples of long-distance flights with stopovers:

  1. Air Canada: flight → London (stopover) → Montreal

  2. Qatar Airways: flight → Istanbul (stopover) → Doha

  3. Air Mozambique: flight → Lusaka or Kinshasa (stopover) → Harare

Additional suggestion:
The game could also include real-time time zone management.
For example: From BRI (Bari) airport, if an Air Portugal flight departs at 13:00 local time, the arrival in Lisbon should display the actual local time in Portugal, such as 12:00, considering the time difference.

Why this feature is valuable for the game:

It adds depth and realism to long-haul route management

It creates new strategic options for players

It simulates more complex international flight paths

It enhances immersion with real-time global logic

It enriches gameplay without needing to add new airports immediately

These features should be available in all airports in the game, since every player knows their current contracts and routes based on their strategy.

Thank you for this amazing game. I truly hope this idea will be considered for a future update!

Victor Mudianyi – Passionate

But if they arrive at LHR right now I have them parked at the airport.

This may be achievable once there are more airports, we have to wait for their general airport

Thank you for replying to my post!
The stopovers I’m talking about don’t mean that another player or someone else would have to manage them manually.
Instead, I suggest that the stopover should happen automatically, managed by the game’s internal system (AI), just like regular flight operations in World of Airports.

Thank you very much for replying to my post. But through the aircraft contracts unlocked at each player’s airport, long-distance flights deserve a stopover.

Just as some advice for next time, please make sure you use the provided template for gameplay suggestions, or if you can edit this post to at least resemble the pre-made templates. Thank you!

Thanks you

Thank you everyone!
