What is your suggestion?
Currently certain premium passes at airports unlock international contracts and the extra livery contracts ending there or shortly after, with the pass continuing on for a while after to unlock the next airport. Using LHR as the example, past international at lvl 44, you get the Aviation Daily A380 at lvl 46 then until lvl 81 you only het a few planes to fil out your fleet with no other contracts.

My suggestion would be for the inclusion of more of these contracts along the length of the pass with the likes of the BA Concorde both in the Chatham livery, Landor and the Negus and with the upcoming 744 RR and the newly arrived 752RR, some of those would fit well into the airport, as well as other retro and special liveries from around the world.

However, my suggestion doesn’t end there. LHR finishes off with 3 more levels to lvl 84 where the pass prizes are quite mediocre with 3 CRJs and 5000 silver planes.

My suggestion would be for a few more levels filled with special liveries and then when you complete the pass, you unlock the ability to run some of the special liveries as regular contracts, say Landor liveried planes so you can operate your LHR as though it was 1995 and chrome American and such.

This might be getting a little large but potentially, this is far flung in the future, your airport could physically role back 20 years, LHR gains Terminal 1 back to go with the old airlines, if Memphis is added at some point, could role back to when it was also a Northwest hub with Northwest Airlines being available instead of the wet stick it is nowadays.

How would it work in the game?
A few more levels added post next airport unlock with extra special liveries and then the final square being the unlocking of special liveries to operate on routes the player chooses to do so on. Say a BA 744 Landor to JFK or GRU or SIN depending on choice and as many as they wish.

Why is this a good idea?
It would increase the playability of completed airports using extra liveries. Currently I’ve got tired of playing GRU now I’ve got international contracts but the ability to unlock the ability to run special/retro liveries on regular contracts would get me back into playing the airport. With the likes of IAD, you could unlock the ability to run the Blue Tulip or Battleship liveries wherever you wished for the price of a regular contract turning the airport from 2025 to 1995.

I agree, personally in the later levels I’d prefer more variety in reward contracts than the Wollars. For example at LHR, you get one of the Icelandair special liveries, a BA 767 from somewhere like Edinburgh that you can’t get normally and the American chrome 777 from somewhere like DFW, stuff that makes the airport more interesting from an airline perspective vice building up the Wollars on an already fully built up airport.

I’d love to use BA’s 763’s as they irl were. They seem really out of place being forced to go to North America and the Middle East as only a couple of destinations make sense outside of just sending a 787 or 777.

YES! In my opinion playing an airport to get the cool contract rewards is one of the biggest things for me in leveling up airport. Not gonna lie, when a new airport is released, one of the things I’m most excited for is what rewarded contracts it has. I’ve noticed at airports like SAN, LHR, and others that they could really benefit from having special event liveries. In the past few airports that have been released (SYD, BKK, MSY, GRU, SCL) we have gotten special event liveries that aren’t normally able to be obtained, and I absolutely LOVE that, I think it’s one of the most underrated things in the entire game. I especially like getting the CURRENT special liveries for carriers that operate to that airport, like the Desert gold B38M at MSY, the Qantas Yam Dreaming B789 at SYD, or the Chilean Flag A320 at SCL, as it just adds so much more realism seeing a current special livery mixed in with the normal airline liveries, just like at the airports in real life!

For airports currently in game that have no rewarded special liveries, I would like to see:

INN: Maybe the Austrian A320 Retro livery

BRI: The Alitalia MD-11

PRG: Would love to see the CSA A333 and maybe Hekla Aurora B752

SAN: I think one of the Alaska E175 Specials, as well as one the Special Alaska 737 liveries once it gets remodeled, and maybe even a Southwest special as well

LEJ: Maybe some special DHL livery, idk

SXM: Would love to see an old MD-11 from citybird or KLM

LHR: Like you said, one or two Concordes, and maybe a retro BA 744, too

Like I said, Reward contracts are one of the best things in game in my opinion, it’s one thing to have a special event arrival, but when you get to see it come back as many times as you want, that makes it even better! I think the sweet spot for Special liveries per airport is around 3-5, based on what WoA has done in the past, but I think we all would love to see more rather than less.
