Game Version: 3.5.0
Airport: All airports
Description of the Bug: Installed the new Google Play Games on PC version. There are no ATC speaking when Radio is selected. Music is no problem.
Steps to Reproduce: Yes, happens all the time.

I found a fix. Fix: No ATC / Radio Voices in World of Airports (PC / BlueStacks / Google Play Games)

If you only hear static but no pilot/ATC voices, here’s the fix:

:wrench: Steps

  1. Open Google Play Store (inside BlueStacks or Google Play Games PC)

  2. Search for:
    Speech Recognition & Synthesis (by Google LLC)
    (This is the Text-to-Speech engine)

  3. Install or update it

:gear: Enable Text-to-Speech

  1. Open System Apps → Settings

  2. Use the search bar and type:
    Text-to-speech

  3. Tap Text-to-speech output

  4. Set:

    • Preferred engine → Speech Recognition & Synthesis

:speaker_high_volume: Test it

  1. Tap “Play sample” / “Listen to example.”

    • If you hear a voice, it’s working

:counterclockwise_arrows_button: Restart

  1. Close the game completely

  2. Close BlueStacks (or Google Play Games)

  3. Reopen and launch the game

You should now hear:

  • ATC instructions

  • Pilot voices

  • Full radio communication (not just static)

:light_bulb: Why does this happen

World of Airports uses Text-to-Speech (TTS) for radio voices.
PC/emulators often don’t have it enabled by default, so you only hear static.
