About to fly a delta 757-300 from Orlando to Detroit. First 757 flight in 10 years and first on the -300 so that’s pretty exciting. Will send more spotting pictures when I land.
Is this a video you took?
Yep
Ok so I’m home now so here are more pictures from mco and dtw.
Also I swear mco has to be some sort of hub for delta 757s because I think I’ve seen more today than I have the last 5 years since covid lol
Delta 747s…?
Surely you mean 757s? Lol. Yeah I think the East coast hubs are where most of the 757 routes are, like ATL and such.
Sorry for the typo, I meant 757(although, I wish I could say 747😔)
I think its just demand, and every hub, so thats alot of flights. (Sometimes its even the 767s to ATL!)
I think I’ve seen where Delta uses an A359 for domestic flights… to LAX or one of the other bigger airports.
Yeah i’ve seen that too.
Got some more KSHV spots in today. Very windy and dusty day. Saw an Aeronaves TSM MD83 takeoff (no pic, sorry ), a Delta Connection CRJ9 land, and lastly, an Aeroservicios de la Costa DH8A land. The DH8A looked as though it were gonna crash at one point on final because it had a rapid 100-200 ft drop… on top of that it was a very wobbly approach, though they ended up landing first try. I’m not sure if it was just the wind/turbulence alone, or a last minute attempt to shed altitude on a manual approach.
Your jet isn’t the one circulating online recently that had the REALLY really rough landing, is it?
I know of the event. It was not me in the cockpit at the time.
Unfortunately I can’t comment more than that regarding the landing.
No worries lol. Just saw it and it was such a coincidence with you on the forum that I had to ask
By all means, happy to answer any questions or talking points. Can’t say I have all the answers but i can try to give an insiders look from the cockpit side of things
Where did you find this? I can’t find anything recent about it
