I’ve been enjoying the recent addition of Zurich International Airport, but there are a few things I personally think could be improved, so I’d like to write about them briefly.
The first issue is the staffing limit. Even considering it’s the initial setup, I think having only 10 handling staff is far too few. With the addition of new event aircraft, there will be many of them, and I personally felt that this number was definitely insufficient.
Another issue is the limited number of GSE (Ground Support Equipment). Personally, I think they should at least provide enough for the number of aircraft initially contracted.
Finally, and this is something I’ve thought for a while, the shortage of ground staff and the extremely high cost per person means that there are far too few ground staff compared to huge airports like Hong Kong International Airport and Heathrow Airport, and I honestly wish they would increase the number of employees to around 1000.Alternatively, I’d like the cost of hiring one ground staff member to be around 100 silver coins per person.
