Aircraft Types Used (from those available in WoA)
(For this airline, there are a limited number of aircraft types available, yet it can still be added.)Aircraft operated (already in-game/planned):
Boeing 737 (-100, -200 Adv) - 6 former.
(3 for both variants.)
(Pictured below: Boeing 737-100 XA-RSZ - later broken up)Before we move to the 737-200, there’s a few livery variants I wanted to share of this type:
(Pictured below: Ditto, same aircraft as above)This appears to have been an earlier livery for the type, as the photo was taken in 1991 - compared to the one above this photo, taken in 1994.
(Pictured below: Boeing 737-100 N416PE - later reregistered to XA-RSZ, same aircraft as above)
That variant of the livery had a different color for the typography - appears to have come even earlier than the livery provided just above this one. Both shots were taken in 1991, with the one above this photo taken in December, compared to this photo taken in September.
Now, moving onto the 200s:
(Pictured below: Boeing 737-200 Adv XA-TCQ - now known as N465AT)Aircraft operated (not in-game):
BAC 1-11 (-200, BA11) - 1 former.
(Pictured below: XA-RTN - derelict)Boeing 727 (-100, -200 Adv, B721/B722) - 5 former.
(1/4 for both variants, respectively.)
(Pictured below: Boeing 727-100 XA-SDH - later scrapped, known as XA-SIR at end of its life)(Pictured below: Boeing 727-200 Adv XA-SIV - now known as YV478T)
Here’s an alternative, all-white color scheme (besides operator titles, which were kept):
(Pictured below: Boeing 727-200 Adv XA-DUI - later scrapped, known as HP-1310DAE at end of its life)And as for the next, and final, type:
McDonnell Douglas DC-9 (-31, DC93) - 3 former.
(Pictured below: XA-SHV - later scrapped)
Why should this airline be added?
I’d say this airline should be added as it increases the diversity of airlines in North America, adds more content for an upcoming aircraft (737 family) as well having some options for future content or aircraft, and it would be a relatively small, yet still notable addition, with some nice bits of history here and there.Given this airline had a short tenure of only about four years, I don’t see it likely to be a regular contract by any means, but I still do believe it would make for good event material - more 737-100 operators are always good to see, (at least to me lol) and if something like the BAC 1-11 was added, then that would definitely make this airline stand out a bit more. This is partly because SARO was the only operator of the type in the entirety of Mexico, if I’m not wrong, which was a nice little bit of history I at first wasn’t aware they had.
So, to summarize: this airline should be added because it would be a nice, small addition that would give a bit more diversity to North American events, would give more niche types like the 737-100 and BAC 1-11 (if added) some more content to work with, and in general would be a nice little notable addition.
