Why should this livery be added?
United was formerly a huge operator of the 737-200s, operating up to about 100 from the variant’s inception at the end of the 1960s - and operated them for several decades up until around the 2000s; during their tenure they saw quite a variety of liveries, as one might expect.One of such liveries these aircraft wore involved the Saul Bass scheme above, which I believe should be added because of its historical significance and relevance with the airline, being quite recognizable, and could compliment aircraft like United’s B741 they have in-game. The livery could also make for great event material for US airports, likely something like IAD.
(By the way, I wanted to include the second aircraft [N9065U] because the cockpit section of it is preserved at the Hiller Aviation Museum, which I went to see last year for my birthday… though it’s in a different livery now - said livery will also be suggested soon
)
