What is your suggestion?
I would like to suggest a quality-of-life improvement regarding the custom color system.Currently, when adding a new custom color (which costs 1 Golden Plane), the color becomes permanently stored in the palette and cannot be modified afterward.
Even if a player is willing to pay again, there is no way to edit or replace an existing custom color — the only option is to keep adding more.
I suggest allowing players to edit or replace previously purchased custom colors.
How would it work in the game?
A few possible implementation options:
Allow editing an existing custom color for 1 Golden Plane
Allow replacing a color slot for 1 Golden Plane
Alternatively, introduce a smaller edit fee (e.g. 2000 Silver Plane) for minor adjustments
From a UI perspective, this could be done by adding an “Edit” or “Replace” button when selecting a previously purchased custom color.
Why is this a good idea?
Custom colors are a long-term and permanent feature in the UI, so providing flexibility to adjust them would significantly improve user experience.Players may want to modify colors because they:
Slightly misjudged a HEX value
Made a small adjustment mistake
Changed their livery design style over time
Want to fine-tune an existing color
Currently, if a color is slightly off, there is no way to fix it — which can feel frustrating, especially since Golden Planes are involved.
Allowing edits would:
Improve usability and flexibility
Reduce frustration from irreversible choices
Encourage more use of the custom color system
Optional: Image or reference
Attach anything that helps visualize or support your idea.
