What is your suggestion?
Clearly describe your idea or the change you’re proposing.
I would like to see some more customizability in how we can set up the scheduler, namely by allowing us to turn off planes arriving on certain days.
How would it work in the game?
Explain how this would be implemented from a gameplay or UI perspective.
In game time would be determined through the already collected METAR data. The first two digits of the time stamp (text block in bold) could easily be crossf refenced with a calendar to determine the day of the week as its a part of ICAO standard for METAR data.

For the UI, clicking on a contract from the scheduler would bring up the contract as it normally does, and buttons similar to the toggles for selecting stand size / cargo-pax would be on the contract screen below destination distance. Contracts would default to being daily contracts, and players toggling them to the off state would prevent it from appearing in the landing queue on those days.
Alternatively – daily schedules. This is more to manage, especially at larger airports, and I think this is too heavy handed of an approach. Some players might appreciate this for parking planes at different places on different days.
Why is this a good idea?
What improvement would this bring? Better usability, realism, fun factor, accessibility?
This would benefit players who want more realism from the IRL contracts they choose to have and allow them to only handle contracts on the right day, while allowing them to be immersed in their airports rather than consulting spreadsheets on what plane to land next.
Additionally, the fact that we could program the daily variety into the scheduler would benefit players who don’t play realistically, but also choose to utilize the system, as it allows a more dynamic experience from day to day at the airport. Between the flight schedules, the runway direction changes for airports that have it, event contracts, player planes returning, the day to day player experience will feel more varied, which is a huge positive.
Finally, especially at small airports such as INN, recreating IRL schedules often means that we have a lot of planes, and with the sped up flight times it reduces room for our own aircraft, and in some instances I end up skipping contracts because there just isn’t room in the schedule to accommodate that many planes every day. This would help me interact with more AI contracts, and create more room across the week for my own aircraft, enhancing the experience and the variety of contracts I am utilizing.
