Why should this airline be added?
Founded in 2012 as Sabaidee Airways, NewGen Airways was a Thai airline that mainly served direct flights to destinations in a niche market in China and was the first Thai airline to provide this kind of service. The airline operated both scheduled and charter flight services with a fleet mainly consisting of Boeing 737s from its six main operating hubs at Bangkok Don Mueang International Airport, U-Tapao International Airport, Krabi International Airport, Phuket International Airport, Surat Thani International Airport, and Nakhon Ratchasima Airport to a total of 30 destinations in China. In August 2019, New Gen Airways suspended all flight operations by the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) due to financial issues. In October of the same year, the airline forfeited its whole fleet, thus ceasing all operations.
