Hi everyone, I’m not sure if anyone remembers this, but…
I recall that when the development team was rolling out the Boeing 747-400 series updates, they shared a 3D model of the Boeing Dreamlifter on Instagram. However, as of right now, this aircraft still hasn’t appeared in the game.
Has the development of this model been abandoned, or did I miss some information along the way?

It will come as a part of a dedicated cargo system update, which should also include BelugaXL, C-130 remodel, C-17 remodel and others.

Is this confirmed, or is it currently just speculation? I don’t seem to have seen any information regarding this.

Hearing this news is truly exciting！
It is, however, a bit puzzling. Since the Dreamlifter is actually an improved version based on the Boeing 747 airframe, it should, in theory, be easier to develop and faster to adapt than the C-130 and C-17.

From the A340 update, we find out that the modeling is not as remodified as the real world; they need to test and reshape the model to make sure the light and texture are correct. A340 is almost the same as A330, but the Dreamlifter is very different in model (even though it is mostly from the 747 in the real world).
