Will Sukhoi Superjet be added to WoA?

A quick note: this thread does not question the developers’ decision to remove—and not add—Russian aircraft and airlines, and I do not want anyone to do so in this discussion.

A question occurred to me, and I wanted to get the opinion of you players—and, of course, the developers. Could the Sukhoi Superjet RRJ-100 be added to the game in this context? The Superjet consortium is 51% owned by the Italian company Leonardo (which acquired Alenia Aermacchi, the Italian firm that originally struck the deal with Russia’s Sukhoi), while Sukhoi holds the remaining 49%, so the biggest part of Superjet is owned by an Italian society.

I seriously doubt it as the parent company Sukhoi is now part of the United Aircraft Corporation which itself is currently owned by Rostec, which is a branch of the Russian Federal Government. Leonardo binned the majority of their stake in Sukhoi back in 2016 with the final 10% still being owned and in a sticky weird EU/Russian company mess. So a definite no to it being added for the foreseeable.

looking similar to an existing aircraft is no issue, and it doesn’t really anyway. The problem is that it is Russian.
