I already added HKG (a while back) and CNN to the flight scrapers, so everything’s ready once the update finally drops.
The harder part is digging up old route frequencies, especially for the older aircraft types like the 763 or MD-11.

I do play like what a game is and I play like what this is a game, all my airports are full that’s why I never complain the other time I uploaded my photo from LHR where a Spirit was, and I cried They criticized me for it, I respect those who play or try to simulate real life, I play as it is and I will always play with all the contracts at each airport whether or not they are on the route of the airport.real life .

Definitely you should play it how you want my friend and no one should ever vilify you for it. We all live our ATC dream in different Ways

Think next update will have MD-11, and when HKG comes out so does the B757.

This can’t be good. The devs made a post about the MD-11 on instagram, and now people there are making up that the devs said it will come before the end of Q3…

The devs have previously said that there will be 1 airport per quarter. Considering they said that these planes are ready to launch and CNN is announced its likely they will launch in the same update sometime around Q3 ending. It’s not strictly confirmed but ‘finishinh touches’ makes it seem close.

The Facebook group is full of the same “rumor” too, even though the devblog says nothing about release and I haven’t seen any official estimates anywhere else, people automatically took it for granted that it would be out by the end of September. And obviously they’re not gonna be happy if that doesn’t happen, even though no such promises were made.
Edit: I understand the reasoning and the pattern, but at the same time I think that unless the devs explicitly say so, it’s still nothing more than an educated guess. But the issue is that some people are taking it for a definitive statement.

Well yeah I’ve noticed that pattern too but they are setting themselves up for disappointment and if it doesn’t come in time it’s gonna be a repeat of 3.0 when on march 31st a bunch of players raided the social media’s saying “where is our update”. Not that I don’t believe that it could come out this month it’s just I don’t want to say anything before an official announcement.

The update is packed with new features, airplanes, and even a new generic airport. Looking at the pattern, it’s clear that October often feels like our anniversary time, and an update of this size would be a great gift to our player community.
Of course, we’re working under what I’d call a healthy “we will make it” pressure. But things can change quickly—anywhere between now and the anniversary we might still discover, “oh no, this is missing, this doesn’t work, we really messed up.” That’s why we don’t like to make promises—we’ve learned that lesson several times already. Before we publish something that we’d have to apologize for afterwards, we’d rather take a few extra days if needed.
That said, it’s probably not hard to guess that we’d love to celebrate the anniversary with this update.

Thanks for the transparency, as much as we’d all love it right now, waiting a bit more time for less bugs and issues sounds like a better deal to me
