I think in terms of stands it would be LHR. And for overall size that should be IAD.

But with the new shared stands feature IAD should have a lot more room 40-50 L stands. GRU doesn’t have that much. And since there are 42 cargo stands at GRU, I think it could potentially be all shared stands etc counted in that number where as with IAD that is maybe not yet the case. Not sure tho, but 42 cargo stands at GRU seems like a lot
Edit: nvm. Didn’t know GRU had so many big stands. But still think IAD will be better, since it has more efficient runways

IMO, what will trully define if GRU will be better or not is the amount of handlers. IAD could have 10 active runways and it would still be bad (for late game), since it just can’t handle all the landing planes. Same goes for LEJ and MCT.
Right now, the most balanced late game airport IMO is BKK, which is a shame, since it suffers from long taxiing times and taxi pathway bottlenecks…
Anyway, back to GRU: I don’t think it’ll be the best Pax airport, but with 42 stands and a decent amount of handlers, we might be looking at the best cargo airport so far!

Based on this source, I do not believe that GRU will have 42 cargo gates. As the UI is still in the test phase, I assume that certain details are not correct.
I have not counted the pax gates.

I’m very excited about the launch of GRU. I confess that I’m curious to see the domestic network of destinations in Brazil and Latin America that will be added to the game and how this plurality will influence new destinations and liveries for existing airports.

I noticed that. At the LHR event, the Boeing B77W from Latam Brasil is arriving from SCL, and at the SYD event, the A343 from Latam Chile is also arriving from SCL. I don’t know if it has a direct relationship with the launch of GRU. But it is very interesting. I confess that I am very excited for the launch, I hope it will be as soon as possible.

That isnt the reason. Its because March 5th is Latam’s 96th anniversary. Hopefully GRU is still close
