3.0 Pre-release Discussion

Also, as I feared, the tower manager prices did go up. It went from 15sp for 15 mins for a single manager to 35 sp for 10 mins . I guess their capabilities are more enhanced but still :sob:

Overall though it doesnt ruin the update for me I’m still excited

That’s good tbh it was way too op before

Not really a big problem I think since many big airports give you earning for thousands of SPs per hour. Should be able to yield higher income if you can optimize the tower manager.

Not that fussed on Bizjets tbh unless the Wollars, Sliver Planes and XP are a lot.

But you can have stands with all four S, M, L & X.

I agree, as like for Sydney their some stands I’ve only got down as X.

Bro just tell me. Dont you wanna handle B767 at INN?

During the stream, INN appeared to have max size C so no B767 in INN (but there will be B757 since they are tagged as C in the game)

I kinda prefer that because in PRG, it gets a bit confusing
Just a bit…

All of this kerfuffle about the 3.0 means its arriving soon right?

Have to admit seeing B752 a cat C is very weird for me.

remember devs can still change things. The version from Phat is still a beta version I am assuming, so yeah. If you notice when Phat was buying stands there was a +1 contract at PRG even though he was buying stands in MSY for example

It’s more about being able to choose only 1 size for specific stands, e.g. for me I use X planes only on double jetways at LHR and Ls on singles then I buy only S on the remotes so if I mistakenly activate delivery manager there won’t be any a/c assigned there (I don’t like using remote stands as much as possible). It cuts down the amount of time scrolling looking for specific gates.

You can modify which sizes Delivery prioritizes, which should mitigate the issue of needing to unlock all previous sizes

Yup it’s nice, but delivery manager assigns planes randomly. I like to use real life gate assignments I wouldn’t put BA A380s at T2 for example. I also would put my own and alliance planes together in the same terminal so I don’t really use delivery manager at all. It doesn’t affect everyone and it’s nothing major but it would just take time to get used to.

you can still manually assign planes to the stands you want and then let the tower to the rest of the work

İ know but i can say that they changed only size system but didnt changed anything. For example current L/X stands still only can handle current all L and X models. Also thats why B752 is C rn.İf they did it as D then they also should add B767s and A300 contract, landing animations, destinations etc and will take more time (them all just my thoughts but probably it is)

Watching the live stream last night I’m guessing only CRJs are coming? no Ejets or 737s?
