Votes don’t mean that much. And I would doubt that PMI would be considered seriously. It doesn’t seem to have that much going for it.

The chance is there but it will depend on whether there’s a better fitting Spanish/Portuguese airport. Will be spiffing for Swiss and easyJet local ops, not having Ryanair as a local for once will be fantastic

I haven’t actually thought too much about it, but ZRH will be really great for local airlines, because it’s not only Swiss - Edelweiss, Helvetic and Chair (if we get it) also have a full-on hub there, and Condor also operates (mostly seasonally) from ZRH, so we could get that too

That’s a good point tbf. One of the big issues with a couple of airports in-game is the monopolised local airlines like LHR and IAD (IAD cause Delta and the likes aren’t realistic there). Hopefully we see some chunks of Swissair there, maybe the 743 and MD-11s, and maybe Swiss’s MD-11 and ERJ will be available along with a couple of deceased airlines like Crossair, Hello, Baboo or Skywork. Also, just looked up the airport and absolutely no Ryanair so wahoo.

I like it that you can have major airlines that aren’t at the airport normally, adds variety Air Zimbabwe back at LHR or Iraq Airways etc.

We can talk all we like, and it’s not like they have any problems with releasing back to back airports on the same continent. Personally, I don’t think Singapore has great odds but there’s no problem with TALKING about it.

Bonus bit tied to my desperate want for Tyrolean to be a local airline at INN, they operated daily flights from Innsbruck to Zurich in the 1990s and early 2000s as well as operating for Austrian on the route from Vienna, even after the rebranding of Tyrolean to Austrian Arrows. They used the Dash 8-100 we have in-game, -300 and Fokker 70s regularly.
e.g. Fokker 70 landing at Zurich,
Editing my little post here, Zurich was a massive MD-11 PAX airport in the late 1990s and early 2000s especially with Swiss operating them until 2004/5 until replaced with the A343. Hope we get to see some more pax tri-jets with the airport.
This is in photo date order on Jetphotos, the amount of MD-11 photos is awesome in such a short timeframe (Obviously a cheeky DC-10 & L1011 in there too),

Should be? Yes. Will be? Almost certainly not. Feel like the devs have moved away from wanting that. I think they even said like a day or two ago that they wouldn’t do one soon due to economics not working out.

I remember HKG mentioning they were developing 4 airports before their debut. HKG, ZRH, ???, ???
Next year, these two will likely remain the main focus. Based on recent comments, I guess entries will come from countries with substantial market potential.
