I 100% support generic airports - I love the expansion potential this brings to the playable world in the game. As long as detailed airports are still going to be developed, as you say, I think it’s a great addition, especially as it already seems to be turning out quite well.
Very happy that you plan some work around the scheduler as well - especially coupled with some new abilities for the Delivery Manager, this could turn out to be a powerful, strategic tool. Fingers crossed.
I’m also really excited with HKG and seeing how it’ll go.
Contrary to some other opinions, though, I’m not sure about the handling revamp. Seems to me like just an attempt to fill more stands by slowing down the gameplay (again…). I like an occasional random event requiring attention, but core gamplay has already slowed down considerably compared to even a year ago, and I’m not particularly looking forward to even more phases and pauses between them. Personally, I don’t buy into the “it’s realistic” argument some guys use, as I’ve never considered WoA to be a hard sim in the first place. If we want to turn hard into realism, then why not draw taxi routes and confirm readbacks as well, you know.
Anyway, just my 2 cents. Thanks for keeping us updated!

Thanks so much to the entire team who make this project a real treat for fans. If you need information on building airports in the future, it would be great to collaborate with players who work on airports, as they could give you some great advice. Good luck, guys!

I love hearing about these updates and what’s coming soon for World of Airports and Flyboys.

It is my dream to travel the world, and I would love to go to all of the in-person meet ups in the WoA airports. (I want to make a WoA vs Real Life video for my YouTube).

Is there anyone, who can explain me how priotizing planes with schedule System works? Do I need hearts too? If i have planed a plane with schedule system and another one additionaly hearted, which on will land first? Will the order to land determined by the scheduler or the hearts or both? Thank you for any help!

Because all the stands are used, and I’m talking about Heathrow as I know that airport more then the others, but I’m sure their be others who know more of the other airports and if all stands are used.

If you want certain ones to land first then yes you need to heat them and have it select on towel first arrivals.

If they was landing on runway 09s, the cargo aircraft would cross here

Will have to watch flightradar when they on 09s again.

golden planes wise… i am a f2p player and getting gold planes with a just unlocked MCT, just unlocked BRI, barely levelled SXM and max INN. It is very hard getting gold planes.

I also wish to meet the devs in India so that I’ll be able to see the people behind the scenes

Also I am requesting you devs to add all the liveries of Air India Express as each livery is showing different artforms and clothing designs of india which are slowly disappearing

I also know that this request is difficult but will like to see them by 2027 atleast

Also I wish to know whether DEL will be coming by 2026 or 27

Also I have an idea the devs may consider

For planes having both Cargo and pax irl and in game , the pax version can be converted to Cargo by paying some gp and waiting for a week for conversion

For eg B752 after paying some gp and waiting for a week can be converted to B752CF and this will solve the player wishes for CF planes

I request the devs to consider my request for above as it will allow more game realism

This is great. The scheduling thing was very annoying, so I’m happy that it will be changed. I’m also very happy about the more dynamic operations that will come to the game to reduce repetitiveness and increase realism. What would be a good thing is the ability to dictate the use of airport runways. Like at LHR, if you could switch the landing and departure runway and/or make all arrivals and departures from one terminal to one runways. But, if you guys are saying that redoing taxiway paths is a problem, then it would be too much work for a minor change. But, I’m very happy that so much effort is going into the game and it doesn’t seem like a pay to win game where the devs do the bare minimum.

Don’t worry it speeds up at the bigger airports once you get more wide-bodies. Just keep grinding

I can run IAD with the big jets and earn enough to purchase after about an hour. It is a bit of a grind but it does make the whole game F2P if you put in the time which I highly respect. Keep going pal, if you can try to pick up SCL, personally found it the most evenly balanced airport so far. :+1:
