All I will say about this is, enjoy SYD, it will be a while before the next one comes. It won’t be DEL and highly unlikely to be Chinese. But like any long time game they have a road map, they know where they are going next. Just not going to tell anyone.
First rule of games, dont give up all your secrets too soon, then you can’t build any hype.

I’m partial to ANC as well because of its proximity to NGO as well as the USA, and because there is potential for the devs to look into small hydroplanes at ANC which interests me far more than any large planes. But like any game that gives free updates, another free airport isn’t something I’m going to complain about. Still have lots of enjoying SYD to do.

Discussing so much actually doesn’t make much sense, of course, no one can say for sure about the plan. Although the current situation in the game cannot realize the plan to have a Chinese airport, no one is sure about the future. When I really hope to have it, I can consider Beijing Daxing International Airport because it is really beautiful. If it is possible in the future, it will definitely represent the works of China’s regional airports.

Also Shanghai-Pudong, speaking of jet gate numbers and the size of airport, PVG is actually bigger than LHR and as a fan of mega airports, in my opinion, I’d rather a HUGE airport like PVG, JFK, LAX…
As much as I would too, many people on worse phones (such as myself, I hate the revvl 6x, please never consider this phone if you buy a new one) would lose out on those airports, and may even be forced to spend money to skip them because they cannot run them. I already struggle with LHR at max capacity, I don’t want to imagine how bad a mega airport would be at even half that…

Perhaps an active airport in Hong Kong or Macau, since that would be a nice distance between NGO, SYD, and MCT, and people like me can still emulate real life (seeing Kai Tak closed 26 years ago).

The next airport is between South Africa and South America according to the developers. It is not known what date, what year, but those options have been considered for a long time.

Ha! I don’t mind a HUGE airport now and again, but I have to say I’m partial to the small airports because of how much mored detail they are able to pack into it. Give me another SXM any day haha.

CPT is my dad’s favorite airport. Regardless of what airport comes out next I’m just happy it’s on the roadmap. In my opinion SCL is more likely, but as others have mentioned probably not worth arguing about.

I think Lago airport would be a good fit for connections but its larger than SXM but bigger than BARI

That plan isn’t real. As you can see, 2.4.0 is already out in mid 2024

It’s an estimated outline based on the q&a from a while ago with the devs based on what the devs said. Definetly not a set in stone plan tho
