More passengers is directly related to profit per trip. So it doesnāt get us to why the cost to profit ratio varies. If thereās additional logic to it or if some planes are just economically better

Mb. Well i think the 321 is economically better but i dont think that matters. Demand does help but as i said with capacity if you have a max and a 321 neo on the same route the 321neo will always make more money.

Right, so outside of those few spots where demand forces the smaller plane, does getting the smaller planes ever make sense? e.g,. if youāre starting low on cash, saving 100k vs 120k doesnāt really tip you towards buying a āstarter planeā like 60k vs 120k would. And then those planes that are so cheap, the payback is so small even proportionally. So are there other things like flight speed, etc. that come in?

Following the events of this thread, the user in question has been suspended for a week. This behaviour will not be tolerated, calling staff toxic, claiming people are argumentative and then flagging over 40 posts, subsequently wasting large amounts of staff time is not needed. Action has been taken and this thread will now be locked.
