Yesterday evening (Prague time) in the Discord generall streaming channel Iāve been working on the L410 classic version for the PRG update.
For version 3.6.0, you can expect ZRH and the A340 family.
Unfortunately, I previously mentioned that the B747 classic family would also be included, but this will have to be postponed to a later update (most likely alongside the PRG redesign).
I underestimated the amount of work required for the B747 liveries, and since Honza is currently fully focused on the A340 and its liveries, there isnāt enough capacity to complete the B747 in time.
I apologize for the delay ā this is also a good reminder that making exact predictions in development can be quite risky.
Thatās fairly understandable. Project management is a really hard job.
Hope we could see many A340 liveries! Personally I prefer to have more liveries in a family with one update rather than having multiple families with limited amount of liveries (really miss the MD11 from JAL, Finnair, Thai, China Airlines and so onā¦)
No matter what, I think you guys are doing a really impressive job.
I always tell other people this way: If you look into the last year, you always feel you were overestimating what you could do. But if you look into the past five years, you are more likely to feel you were underestimating what you could do!
While I completely understand the reasoning, it is a tad disappointing to hear this againā¦ This is the second time as far as I am aware, and I do hope it doesnāt become a regular thing.
Donāt get me wrong, I do love the work you all do and I will continue to support any decision, Iāve just seen things like this cause features and stuff to be never seen in games due to constant postponingā¦

Youāre right ā this is actually the third time the B747 has been postponed, and I fully understand your concerns.
The main difference compared to the past is that earlier delays were mostly related to the models themselves, while now the challenge is more about liveries and especially animations.
A high-quality model and liveries alone are not enough if the animation doesnāt meet the same standard. With features like advanced flaps and more detailed models, we also had to introduce more complex animation systems. For example, the community requested tilted landing gear, which means the standard gear animation now requires additional sequences and logic.
During this process, it often turns out that the model itself needs adjustments, and in some cases even the base livery has to be partially redone.
Weāve also implemented new tools into our workflow that make development easier, but instead of purely speeding things up, weāve used that gained efficiency to push for higher detail and quality overall.
That combination is whatās currently impacting the timeline.

Redesigned aircraft will come, and new aircraft will continue to arrive as well ā weāre definitely not at the end of the road yet.
Iām really happy to know that we are not at the end of the line yet, that means that you guys are still cooking things behind scenesā¦
I have a little suggestion that maybe, do not belong to this particular section, however, I would love to have on each new airport, all the airlines that we know that operates regularly there that do not exist on WOA yet, such, Chair, BeOnd for Ej, the case of ZRHā¦
Little bit saddened by the news of the delay but very much looking forward to seeing them, especially if thereās a nice roster of readily available -300 and -200 contracts for me to have at my airports. -200Fās at HKG and LEJ plus SYD would be brilliant with Qantas and Ansett -300ās at the international terminal .
Honestly, I really would have wished to see some Swiss 747s at Zurich, but this is completely reasonable and I appreciate your honesty and transparency.
I have a question with the 747 though, will it be like other classic aircraft in game with 4-5 liveries per variant or will there actually be a variety we can use as Normal contracts?
Disappointed to hear that the B742 and other legacy variants have been again delayed, but Iād much rather have them done right. I do hope we donāt have to wait until after the 737 remodel for these though as they would be extremely nice to have at ZRH (and SYD!).

Teasing the L410 makes up for it though. Is this model just going to be decorative, or is this model going to be used for contracts and fleet planes as well? I have this infatuation with tiny planes so really hoping we can get some of these for ourselves.
