More than enough MD11 liveries to make me dream of an AMS release one day ![]()
Thanks for this quick summation, as someone who stepped away for the last 130 messages and live streaming day, I got lucky with jumping to last segment ![]()
Regarding the discussion on Generics/CNN, my first read of the blog post was that community feedback was important on the direction of future airports.
I would think this feedback and discussion is a great way to move into what we really wanted, what that vision from @LeChonk looked like, then they may âsee what we seeâ and readjust moving forward.
I donât see any reason why those improvements couldnât be back-ported as weâve seen in other airports and that change would be less on CNN?
11 total liveries for DH64
Can you list them or provide your source?
Yeah shame their no Thai or Swiss.
I dont know if it was mentioned yet, but will the wind based runway change come for all airports or is it just in CNN and new coming airports?
Just in CNN as per above. Really cool feature and I hope that itâs the case for future airports too. I presume when they get it down to a tee theyâll implement it for previous airports when they do the revamp of them.
Like it normally does, and heart planes does if you select them to be first.
Youâre missing the point, saying itâs pointless having a scheduled if you gonna have delivery manager on. When other three ATC acts will land the aircraft, take off and cross runways or pushbacks.
Still not pointless, granted itâs not a feature now, but if you can assign airlines to a specific terminal and then activate the ATC delivery, then you wouldnât need to assign a specific gate in the scheduler because the ATC will do so and then youâd also have the option to randomize where planes park at that specific terminal
Then shouldâve done it for terminals then had it random select gates, but with LHR BA not the only that goes to same gates, some A380 flights stay at same gate, good thing is if you say have most Qatar Airways contacts you could select different gates for them and not have them all on same gate.
Yea that might work for a big airport like LHR but thinking of smaller airports like BRI or even SXM, I feel itâs going to be monotonous to see KLM parked every time at gate A1 because the gates wont have a randomized option
and no, I will not add more KLM flights on the schedule because I want to simulate real life schedules for my own enjoyment. That why, again the idea of having an option to assign airline contracts to terminals, instead of gates is a proposition, or even a stand multiselect
It only work with airports like LHR or BKK. Other airports donât really need the use of schedule just love heart them and select them first on arrivals and delivery manager no need to use the schedule,
For now, itâs confirmed to be there in all Generic airports, Main airports decision will be made based on how good it works in generic, Also to remember, each runway would need full new set of codings of taxi route for the switch and for airports like LHR, which is already worst in normal mid range phones would be mad
Thatâs why Iâm only using LHR for flight schedule everywhere else delivery manager can do them randomly.
sure with the way the scheduler is set up now, it works only for bigger airports, but I donât want to heart planes just to get them in.
I like the idea of having the schedule to have a better sense of organization with the contracts. And thinking of having 500+ unnecessary contracts just irks me tbh
Thatâs cool for you if you only want to use it at LHR, I personally would like to do it at all airports but thatâs just me. Iâll play around with it when it releases first before posting any suggestions on how it could be improved. I already have some idea floating around in my head
Agree fully phill
Do you not? Apart from LHR other airports I Love heart the bigger aircraft so D to F only C I do is my own and thatâs the XLRs.
Well I would do flight schedule if they did Manchester or Gatwick maybe Vancouver.
Geeez,⌠theyâve told us umpteen times itâs not going to be as realistic as previous builds⌠thus the term generic! I was really impressed with CNNâs detail.
