I would think Africa would get some love at some point now, since it’s the only remaining continent (excluding Antarctica) that doesn’t have a playable airport.

Actually, I could see this coming out as a “minigame airport” this concept is one I made a while ago.
Basically, this would work for incredibly small airports where you play them like airport prg, as a minigame. After you handle a certain amount of planes you can replay it, with you earning rewards like wollars at any airport or silver planes, maybe even golden planes…
