HKG - Sharepoint

Not really but I’ll answer it anyway, may as well get yourself a D/E, quicker to level up that way.

Found this pretty interesting, here are two photos, one of the B777-300ER and one of the B767-300 at the same spot, and wow, I knew the 777 was bigger than the 767, but not THAT much bigger, really puts into perspective how big the 777 is.

And the 767 ain’t no slouch either. The scale of anything 777 and above can start to mess with human perception I think.

I do love that bird. Would love the chance to fly it again before retirement. Can’t wait for the remodel.

ok… yeah the A340 wasnt what airbus hoped for but its better then whats been happening with boeings 777X

The A340 is iconic, but its not a particularly good aircraft. The 777x is going to be one of the safest and most profitable aircraft in the skies, once it gets past this miserable stage of development. Boeing really fumbled the 777x development stage lol, but as an aircraft it is far superior to the A340.

Question: Why are the liveries of Hong Kong Airlines, Hainan Airlines, and Suparna Airlines literally all the same exact livery? Are they all owned by the same conglomerate or something? It seems like there would be major copyright issues between them.

Hong Kong Airlines:

Hainan Airlines:

Suparna Airlines: (I don’t have the contract)

Again, I’m just curious, but let me know if you guys have any answers, thanks!

I know it’s the same company that owns the lot with Hainan being the main airline but I don’t know the company’s name lol. I’ll look it up,

Ah, that makes sense, I was thinking it was probably some big parent company.

I looked it up a few years ago as Suparna’s old name, Yangtze River Airlines, I had seen a photo of their 744BCF in airliner world and noticed Hainan looked the same lol. My curiosity needed to be satisfied.

This is pretty interesting, I dunno if anyone else has seen it yet, but right outside the Cathay training center at HKG, you can actually see the fully modelled DC-3 that sits there in real life, VR-HDA nicknamed “Betsy”. Really shows how much attention to detail the devs do with this game.
