Only thing I was going to add myself was the older, demolished in the last few years, terminal sections were due to this being a huge Northwest Airlines hub prior to the merge with Delta, to which Delta then pulled out as Atlanta is fairly nearby as their hub.
Whereas now it looks like this, pretty much dead for passenger traffic.
