Every S plane except those that use the jetbridge Iā€™ve landed at a jetbridge stand has used bussesā€¦ I wonder if itā€™s a bug for some / all of these.

The Dash 8s will definitely have people walk out if they are parked at Terminal 3, Stands D8 and 9 I can confirm do it.

So why do planes open the back door and connect a stair if passengers board only by jetways?

I think devs should fix that because thereā€™s no need for jetways in S stands when the S planes in Australia donā€™t use them.

This is why we need the Qantas link B463s and other airlineā€™s E170s, for those stands

Will also add that D1 also uses busses despite not being a remote stand either. This should operate just as D8/9 with passengers walking to the terminal.

S planes that do not use jet bridges but park a terminal should walk into terminals instead of using busses, so as far as I can tell D1, D44, D52, D54, and D56 are all not functioning as well as they could be.
