Flexi Alliance Revenge

After the recent marketing campaign from horsepower embracing it’s core ideas of being up front with costs the Flexi Alliance have flipped on them by doing the same. The Flexi alliance are now offering 8 flights a day between IAD and LHR with the following being the flight times:

B744 LHR to IAD 6:00-14:00 UTC
A332 LHR to IAD 10:00-18:00 UTC
B77W LHR to IAD 14:00-22:00 UTC
A333 LHR to IAD 18:00-02:00 UTC

B744 IAD to LHR 8:00-16:00 UTC
A332 IAD to LHR 12:00-20:00 UTC
B77W IAD to LHR 16:00-24:00 UTC
A333 IAD to LHR 20:00-04:00 UTC

The use of multiple flights a day all priced the same at 15$ to encourage people to pick the flight that fits in their schedule best leaving some passengers to consider if a convenient time is worth an extra 5$.

A fast response

With LeChonk group’s response to the campaign, Horsepower air has played their high card, Horsepower Supersonic. With this news, they keep the same price, and similar times, only leaving 15 to 30 minutes after to rival flights each time, but instead of running with standard airlines like the 787-8 like they were, they’ve placed their fleet of 12 Concorde on the route, cutting in half the travel time and doubling the amount of flights compared to the rival.

It’s hard to describe the war here, but Eco Aviation and Horse Power Air still have pretty good relations even joint venture with security and drones.

IAG remains neutral while benefiting off alliance debates

FlyMetro announced today that it will move PRG based A319 NEO to LHR to offer marked-up fares across Europe to all destinations currently served (40 destinations) as thousands of passengers flock to Heathrow because of the low fares, many wanting a easy connection elsewhere, which IAG members are happy to provide. T.O. Airlines based in LHR is happy to provide extra intra-Europe and U.K. flights to passengers arriving on Tranquillity and Flexi flights. Ramses Air is providing extra flights from Germany, and JJet from Italy.

everyone is just getting in on this war aren’t they

neutrality was never an option

As the IAG attempts to seize the opportunity, horsepower counter-acts their markup by raising the frequency of their already low cost regional flights across Europe, creating yet another faction in what has been now called The Fare War

Horsepower is announcing a loss in revenue due to their desicions, could there be problems, or will they find their way out?

A Distraction?
After the recent announcement of Horsepowers 12 Concordes on the IAD to LHR route the Flexi Alliance has done a 180 in a bid to cause the strategy to backfire. The Flexi alliance IAD to LHR route has been reduced to a bi-daily flight from LHR using a B744. The other planes now free from this route are now being sent to other hubs like Nagoya and Muscat, causing an ironic twist of fates where passengers are taking ultra low cost supersonic flights from IAD to LHR causing a net loss, only to then take normally priced flights from the Flexi Alliance to other hubs that are not being focused on by Horsepower. This strategy is been speculated to cause a loss in Horsepower Airlines as the cost of tickets does not exceed the price of fuel to power the Concorde.

The LeChonk group is now also offering more Europe bound flights from LHR as the small fleet of Airbus A220s and Embraerer grows at LHR

AeroBlue to expand its SAN to LHR connection flights in cooperation with LeChonk group

Regardless of the recent dispute between Flexi Alliance and several other groups, AeroBlue, member of Flexi Alliance, and LeChonk group expanded their SAN - LHR flights. Therefore, AeroBlue bought a high-capacity A380 which adds new flight possibilities between the two metropolises. “Why should we care about the east coast when the revenue potential of the west coast routes is much greater anyways?” AeroBlue CEO Ben Blue stated on a press conference given a few hours ago. In addition, one AeroBlue A332 and one LeChonk 747 flight still remain offering even more possibilities for the passengers on this route. Moreover, one AeroBlue 747 has been sent to several other private companies operating LHR to promote Flexi Alliance and AeroBlue itself.

horsepower hits the bottom

The Concorde have returned to their regular routes, with only 1 remaining on a tri-daily flight between Heathrow and Dulles

The CEO announced that there was some major profit loss during The Fare Wars™ and that it was a stupid idea to do what was done, but it had to be for competition. They did say they almost bankrupted again and that prices may rise over the coming months, but not by much thanks to a high number of flights that were in the green.

Both alliance’s have returned to their regular flights, seeing similar passenger numbers, with Tranquility have slightly higher numbers thanks to Horsepower’s regional hub in Australia starting to receive higher passenger numbers

But he also hinted that he has another card to play, but that’s being held onto for a a little while longer…

Orange Air introduces the BULC concept for low fares

Inspired by the “low fare” actions of the previous days, Orange Air subsidiary Ancillary Services (Anser) developed the Budget Ultra Low Cost concept for Airlines which can’t make a decent profit with their “business as usual”.

The BULC concept is a complete package of Airline and Airplanes to be operated as a wet lease contract. (Dry towels are a standard part of this agreement, of course!).

The Airline is named “Chicken Wings, A Low Bucket Airline”, with the catchphrase “All you can (s)eat”. Passengers pay € 1,- for the ticket, but are charged for the food they eat on board. In this case regulations (and prices) for high class restaurants are applicable and not Aviation regulations.

This opens up new oppertunities for doing business.

For facilitating these offers Orange Air has a new subsidiary, named Orange JUICE. This new operating company specifically deals with aircraft “gained” in starting new airports, but not one of the regular types operated by Orange Air’s main operating subsidiaries International, Regional, Midea and Cargo.

They were accepted JUst In CasE, hence the name JUICE for their new parent company. Orange JUICE planes have a seperate livery and are easily recognisable:

Romanian Airlines’ hurrying start has been leaked

CEO of Romanian Airlines,Stefan, has gotten desperate as he got his 1st aircraft in INN for his first flight with CLJ as destination, under the flight RAF7391 (R and A you know already,F for Flight). In addition,3 Dash 8-400’s and one A319 are going to soon enter Romanian Airlines’ fleet.

Stefan will confirm for you the following:

-Romanian Airlines now has permission for charter flights, livery for it will be Premium 1 and the division will be RA Charters. The fleet will consist of every aircraft that are not V3 yet.
-Future aircraft will have other destinations other than CLJ and OTP
-If a certain airport is NOT a base Romanian Airlines relies on,Romanian Airlines will still have aircraft, but only to closer airports to OTP(like planned A350’s and 787’s for far airports like SYD and IAG)
-The contract will begin next week so that the logo can be confirmed.
-Flights use Economy seats like never before with their advanced mini TV techonology and the best tray tables ever seen.

Stefan tells people that updates about Romanian Airlines will come next week.

We have seen that the creation of Romanian Airlines is turning into a reality, but will the airline be a sucess,or a failure??

Flexi Alliance Sydney Hub

The Flexi alliance is ramping up operations in Sydney Airport, the new hub is primarily serving as a secondary pacific hub for the alliance as Nagoya becomes more saturated. Despite this it is been noted by the LeChonk groups CEO as “very limited due to it range” with only the A350 being able to connect to more than 3 other hubs. Still it is an important connection to the SAN hub which is the primary hub for AeroBlue.

This has ultimately been a result of the calming of the ‘Fare Wars’ in the Atlantic region with the Flexi Alliance now focusing on investing in other hubs. The fare wars was widely considered a loss for the Tranquility Alliance but the Flexi Alliance is still weary reguarding a possible ace up their sleeve.

Seen below are a A333 and B748 from Maroon Air, A B789 from Thruii Airways and a A332 from the LeChonk group native to the airport
