Hello, I just unlocked SYD recently and have encountered a problem that is new to me.
Sometimes when the plane parks and I assign crew, even at max crew I cannot handle the plane in the time it has been allotted. I’ve never run across this before. It is not a services issue, where the timer keeps ticking but we’re waiting on baggage or toilet servicing, but the estimation time already shows the plane will be late.
Is this a new feature or bug that just happened to coincide with my unlocking SYD? Thanks!
Hi, so this likely due to the ambulift and maintenance, which are both features which if they come in 2’s or even all 3, they can lead to aircraft overrunning, especially those which have a tighter time gap like the Dash 8’s. It’s a feature of the new systems and is also a feature of irl airport ops.

Yeah, it isn’t maintenance. This was literally the second plane parked at the airport and when I added the 4/4 crew to work it, it still showed that I was going to be delayed. Edit: When you first handle a plane it shows the best case scenario, time-wise, as it doesn’t know if any of the services are going to be backed up.
Any chance will redo/improve the runway, i.e. enabling landings from 16L? will definitely improve the efficiency greatly

thats why I say that this is the most underrated airport in the game. Imagine when they add the second runway

The only thing SYD needs for me to call it a truly S tier airport is some connection partner opportunities for planes that are smaller than A21NYs.

well, it’s an intreting looking airport, and is position is like a vridge from SYD to Asia
rn, i don’t have find the Cairns airport suggestion and the List of the requsted airport isn’t updated, so I think that It’s not suggested yet or it was requested but nowhere to be found

I could have thought it was around as well.
I’ll let you do it haha. Was just cruising Google earth for some good shots. The Short Belfast stored there would be great to see added with the airport.
