I think it makes sense. No one plays it much cause it’s slow and really focused towards more GA-type traffic, but it’s a gorgeous airport with cool mechanics and contracts.

@polishaviator ! Why on earth SYD?!!
Back when Sydney was released, nobody liked Sydney because it wasn’t able to have C or smaller aircraft player connections. People would need to venture out to D-F aircraft. So it’s not uncommon to have a few SYD disliker people.

yeah i see it but the thing that redeems it for me is maho beach (love to go there in real life) but i can see why people dont like it as much.

CNN, purely because it doesn’t have the correct layout and building placement. I don’t mind generic airports, but I do not care for fantasy airports.

I feel it would benefit from the wind direction changing even if that’s unrealistic. Yes traffic might be an issue but I feel it might make it more interesting. I’m not quite sure why I dislike it tbf, there are worse ones but unlike Heathrow which equally needs an upgrade, I just don’t enjoy the airport. You’ll have to tell me how you’ve made it enjoyable.
Maybe if the devs add more liveries and airlines…

Still none, got the 747, only other aircraft I’d consider is the 773ER or 777x when that eventually comes out. Possibly the 787-10 then.

Y Perth? It’s more far away from the US east coast! But near to Europe
PER would have more out of the box compatibility with other in game airports, making it feel less isolated for player connections. In game, you can send A359s (and A35Ks I believe) between LHR and PER without any issues, and B789s fly it in reality, but can’t do it in game.
Like others have said, there really should be another airport in that area so SYD can have more player C (maybe even B) contracts without relying on the A21NY for flights to NGO, BKK and HKG.

Hey yall, I’m thinking about getting a member of the A330 family for myself before the remodel so I can get a better price. Which is the best one to get? (And why?)

Also, does anybody know (if it all) which engine variant of the A330s will be the one to be remodeled? I just want to make sure I buy the right one, in case they delete the one that isn’t remodeled and I lose ownership.

i would say the A330-300 it has lots of range and lots of passenger space but i dont know what one is getting removed but for me the A330-300 is a good investment
