When do we think the next DevBlog is?
I mean it’s been almost 2 whole months since the last one. Following the pattern of how the devs are releasing the updates, I can infer that 3.2 will probably come around the end of Q3. So maybe later this month?
I don’t know but with how many small teasers we gotten I’m really looking forward to the next dev long and dev chat on discord
I feel it’ll be somewhere in the beginning of Sept
That feels far out to me. I bet closer to a week or two
For the function to manage aircraft sizes for each stand, I suggest including an option to disable the stand.
I assume that when selecting the sizes to use, we’d be able to select none of them, i.e. turn all sizes off, which would effectively deactivate the stand. But that’s just my guess.
I think sometimes this month mabe. But seriously the suspense is killing me. I saw a few stories on insta for like 4 contracts coming from south Africa so that might be a teaser and we have the SA flag on the scheduling thing…
I also expect the next airport to be JNB, which is conducive to connecting to other airports in South America and the Middle East. The two far-distance parallel runways (one for landing and another for take-off) can serve a certain number of A388, making it very suitable as a player’s African hub airport.
It was already mentioned by the devs, that the SA flag on the schedule screenshot was just randomly and was not a teaser.
Well they would say that wouldn’t they
.
They want the news to be by their video which I completely understand.
I think it will be CAI. From JNB players can’t reach most C to aby other playable airport (only A21NX can reach to GRU), same with CPT. From CAI even A planes can reach BRI, it’s also bigger.
In SYD only D, E, F (and G) planes can reach playable airports for now. So that’s not really a concern for the devs I believe. They can add in others airports in the future to fill the gaps.
I wouldn’t mind either of those airports tho
Can’t wait for the next dev blog. Not even for a new update I just love to hear the next part of the road map
I do love a good roadmap. Every game I’m the same, love to see where something is headed.
If I’m correct, thw devs have a said some things and gone back on them and plus they put a major update on April fools.
Martinair already said it: The South African flag was also used as a placeholder back when 2.0 was in the making. The devs have already said it more than once that this isn’t a hint for a South American airport in game. However, that doesn’t mean that there won’t be any airport from this country in the future.
I personally don’t get what any of this would have to do with the release of GRU on April 1st.
True… Maybe I’m not right.
Since we haven’t heard from the devs in awhile, I suspect they’ve been really busy behind the scenes on the next update. This is usually a good sign.
Yeah, or maybe they are unsure when they will be done is my guess
