You should definitely watch the YouTube video that Phat made he explains it really well.
what i want to know is:
If i have hearted planes favored and also G/F planes favored to land first - what happens, when i have for example a hearted C plane and a not hearted F plane. Which one of them will land first?
I have reported this to the devs.
UPDATE: Received an answer that the issue is known and will be fixed in the next update.
Bug reports can be send to support@flyboys.games. The devs do not read this Forum.
Please also use this thread for informing us about your findings, thanks.

Hi all!
Is it should be like this, that in GRU aircrafts can’t take off and landing at the same time?
It turns out that it’s either takeoff or landing. No parallel operations.
Every time you have to wait until the plane takes off or lands. Because of this logic, queues form at the departure…
Planes take off when the plane that is landing has touched down. Idk if the runways are perhaps too close to allow parallel operations irl.
For example SFO’s runways are actually too close next to each other to allow parallel operations, but they got special permission from idk who or where. But at ICN both parallel runway pairs are too close together. But they don’t have special permission to have parallel operations as far as I know.
Don’t think that’s the case
I’ve seen videos on YouTube of planes taking off 10L when another is landing on 10R
Maybe someone has already mentioned or discussed this, but I just noticed that now the departure time and the plane’s appearance on the map happen only when you press ‘Depart’ on the runway
Because before, it used to happen right after you finished handling and pushed the plane from the gate.
Yea that was mentioned in the release notes of 3.0
Yep this is correct. Planes really depart after 5-10 minutes (not sure exactly) if you don’t press the depart button. That’s the time penalty devs mentioned if you don’t press the take-off button to let planes depart
Handling the pack planes (you buy with real money) don’t unlock the liveries in WoApedia. Should’t it?
Just played BKK, apparently this is happening here as well
If it’s at all airports this needs to be fixed ASAP
It seems correct to me.
At my home airport, Sheremetyevo, there are also two parallel runways with a relatively short distance between them.
For example, one aircraft lines up on Runway 1 and waits until another aircraft touches down on Runway 2 — only then does it take off.
If I’m not mistaken, ICAO standards require at least 1,035 meters (3,400 feet) between runway centerlines for independent parallel takeoffs and landings.
I’m not 100% sure, but I believe the distance is about 280 meters at Sheremetyevo and around 375 meters at GRU.
The same goes for Bangkok (BKK) — the runways there are also too close for simultaneous operations.
I might be wrong about some details, but that’s my understanding of how it works.
Here’s an example of what I mean.
You can see it in this video 16:05
But at bkk it was working just fine until this update…
Previously, we would just send the aircraft and it would go straight to the runway and take off.
Now it’s more realistic — first, we send the aircraft to line up on the runway, and only after that we give it takeoff clearance.
Considering they’ve reclassified all aircraft according to ICAO standards,
I believe they might be working on implementing more realistic procedures across the board — including runway usage rules and the possibility of parallel takeoff/landing operations, such as “independent” and “dependent” procedures.
I would hope that’s the case
Also I really do hope for a buffer between the 757 and the 767 as D category planes
Hey Flyboys,
after playing GRU a while i noticed 2 RWY in use, 10L only for departing and 10R only for approaching planes. Is it possible there existing an dependency between these two RWYs? I noticed too, if a plane get clearance for take off, RWY 10R is blocked for landing. This dependency will also exist vice versa, if a plan get clearance to land at 10R, RWY 10L is blocked for departing planes.
Why does this dependency exist, what´s the reason? I cannot understand this, because RWY´s are protecded from taxiing planes with hold lines.
It would be possible to serve lot planes more in GRU at a defined time, if this dependency would not be exist. Is it possible to lift this blockages for a faster progress at the airport?
Happy flying and thank you for your great work/service!!
Please tell me if this could be considered as bug, so i will write a mail to the support…
This is what I got from the devs
But I’ve seen planes landing while another take’s off and vice versa
So I’m hoping they would reconsider this
thank you very much for informations, I thought something like that
yes planes landing, while anothers take´s off, but not immediately, the landing is only released when the departing aircraft has passed a certain point in the RWY and vice versa too… The difference is enormous. When i switch of the departing manager and to this manually by myself, about 80 to 100 handlers more in use. But we have to accept it like this…
