Better example is “the day before” it came in early access but was already shutdown after a month. That game has so much critism that it would never been released or worked on again.
Opposite is manor lords. The developer take a lot of time but that game was good received by community
Is it really lying when they give a projection or just their aim when they want to release the update for which us players assume that’s a promise? I don’t think so. Sure it can be disappointing, but that’s no reason to get mad at them or call them liars. I am sure the devs want to release it sooner rather than later. But if it’s later it will have a good reason.
On one hand I’d love to play GRU organically… just buy the pass and enjoy the slow journey…
Or…
Sell my 9 saved planes and get super fast progress and get all the terminals and stands fast….
Hmmm….
I know from my BKK experience, I used tons of saved planes, got to 3 stars international, bought tons of planes on contract then felt a bit flat…. Wasn’t that enthused to carry on at BKK anymore.
Has anyone else had this once they reach 3 stars at past airports?
I am gonna take the slow approach I think, since GRU is a big airport. So once the ball starts rolling, it’ll be pretty easy. Compare that to MSY where progress is much tougher. Such airports could use boost for me in the beginning
Patience folks. Beta test is well underway.. just a little bit longer, but as I’ve said recently. Go check out @Thephatrican’s stream from the other day. If you haven’t already.
You need to be prepared for this change as it’s huge and will take some getting used to.
Don’t take WoA Discord server seriously unless it comes straight from the developers - and especially not on April 1st (or March 31 for you people in future timezones)
Don’t know due to that would be short haul routes, in the game there is a limit on minimum distance to get a certain contract. Hopefully we can get them.
But we can surely get UA B764/B763 or so if INN can handle Cat D, I suppose?
I personally think the D category should only be used for special events at INN, its just a start up airport for the game to kind of get used to the handling. BRI is meant as the first taste of Heavy aircraft.
But I think we’re getting a bit off topic again as this is supposed to be about GRU
I know things still change and the version that @Thephatrican previewed in the livestream (again, big thanks to him and to the developers, for making it possible) was not the final version that will be released.
However, on that version, the Boeing 757-200 is categorised as C.
I admit to having checked the app store, already, a couple of hours ago, but I’m not in any “rush”, so to speak, for the release. Like many people have mentioned before, the time it’s taking to be release it’s a clear demonstration of the huge amount of work something like this requires. And that makes me admire and appreciate the game developers even more.
