3.0 Pre-release Discussion

Hey fred, I hope you are well too.
Where I got the information that 757 was D was in a new thread made by @carlsberg72 stating all the aircraft and their new sizes. This is legit info as he has worked very closely with the devs especially over the last week to carry out beta tests. Here is the topic if you want to see it. New Aircraft Categorization for 3.0

Both carlsberg and phat have seen i expect a bit of the update. Who is right i dont know and i will see after update who was right. I hope everyone else do the same

Hi Jt.

Thank you for your message. Appreciate the link.
Tbh, I’d actually seen that post you’ve linked, but, as it turns out, not with the proper attention.

The new D categorisation is inline with ICAO’s Aerodrome Reference Code classification of the Boeing 757-200 (4D).

From a quick comparison, between Andy’s @carlsberg72 post and the version Jeremy @Thephatrican live streamed, I found the following alterations:

  1. B752 and B752F, from C (live stream) do D (New Aircraft Categorization for 3.0);
  2. DH64, also from C to D;
  3. A3ST, from E to D.

Oh I never even noticed the a3ST change. Thanks for pointing it out

I think it makes sense, the new D categorisation, for the Airbus Beluga, considering it is a derivative of the A300-600.
And, again, 4D is also ICAO’s ARC for the type.

P.S. You’re welcome, by the way.
I’m sorry! :flushed_face: Should have started with this.

I have so many of these :joy: I cherry picked the ones I liked. Could use a :wastebasket: option

Yep lol

Have them in every airport up to MCT (:

I know I keep a few transferable fleet and contracts as mementos, sort of a unique thing that makes the account more valuable
